Tulmar Safety Systems Secures UK Defence Contract to Equip Military with Life-Saving Tactical Gear

Hawkesbury, ON – Tulmar Safety Systems, a leading Canadian provider of engineered safety solutions for the defence, aviation, and civil safety sectors, has secured a multi-year contract with the UK Ministry of Defence’s Defence Equipment & Support (DE&S) organization. The contract will see Tulmar supply thousands of GALEO Tactical Life Preservers to British military, reinforcing the company’s position as a trusted supplier of life-saving military equipment worldwide.
Tulmar secured this contract in collaboration with UK-based partners, Scott Aerospace Ltd. and Brigantes Consulting Ltd., industry leaders in military equipment innovation.
Designed for the most extreme operational environments, the GALEO Tactical Life Preserver delivers exceptional flotation performance, seamless integration with specialized military gear, and uncompromising reliability—critical for elite operators whose missions demand the highest safety standards. Engineered and manufactured in Canada, GALEO exemplifies Canadian innovation in military life-preserving technology.
