Classroom Girt Trainer
Tulmar designed and manufactures the Classroom Girt Trainer. This training device has been created to meet the industry’s need and demand to add the realistic experience of handling a girt when doing emergency evacuation training in a classroom setting. The Classroom Girt Trainer enables the trainees to experience a real-feel pull force cabin crew would encounter when manually inflating an evacuation slide from the aircraft.
- Uses realistic pull force for both pull to inflate and pull to release slide
- Replicates motion (pull movement se-quence of actions)
- Includes lacing under girt flap to repli-cate girt to slide attachment
- Anti-skid under the girt for training on multiple surface types
- Handles on the back allow to fold the girt trainer into its own valise
- Quick reset for back to back training (Resets in less than 20 Seconds!)
Type Specific Girt Trainers
Tulmar’s type-specific girt trainer provides the user with a true OEM experience of operating a girt specific to the aircraft type. Every aircraft’s girt is different depending on the aircraft type. The girt attaches to the girt bar on your existing door or cabin trainer and allows you to pull the handle to inflate an evacuation slide and detach the girt. You are now able to replicate the motion and force needed to perform these tasks during a real Emergency Evacuation situation.
